Staying with us

We are definitely not a luxury hotel.   But we can give you the opportunity to stay in an ancient castle.
Let's go on a brief tour of this one:
You enter through an ancient Baroque portal, and into the entrance hall, which is open to the second floor with its stunning vaulted ceiling and beautiful Baroque fresco.
Each floor is finished with Baroque railings. The chandelier is from the late 19th century. The wood panelling of the hall comes from the same period.

To the right is the entrance to the Reception room, to the left is the staircase to the upper floors and below the staircase is the entrance to the cloakroom. Straight ahead , and down the steps, is the ground floor with a Reception hall, off of which are other rooms, including a kitchen, bar and bathroom. These areas belong to the oldest parts of the chateau. They are from different eras, which is evident from the vaulted ceilings typical of the Gothic,Renaissance and Baroque. From the Reception hall there is an entrance out to the park. This hall can be used for receptions, weddings, corporate events or parties.
The wooden Baroque staircase leads to the first floor.  To the left,  on the south side of the chateau, is another very old part of the castle. There are four rooms, each has an ensuite  bathroom, toilet and shower. Additional beds can be added if they're needed.
The top floor of the building, which was completed in the 18th century was the most damaged (by improper interventions in the 70ies of the last century). Renovations are still underway, but there are already four rooms with bathrooms available.
We can arrange barbecues at your request -  suckling pig, pork, lamb and turkey, either from our own livestock or from other local sources.
We can also arrange transport to take you to the the ski hill, golf course, or to other sites listed in the Activities section.  The van can accommodate 9 people comfortably.
